Proofreader
*****Court Transcription Proofreading*****
Proofing is the final step to completing your transcription. You should always let an experiences court proofreader like myself check your work before you submit it to your client. Having your work proofed as a final step could save you from embarrassment or even save your career.I will meticulously read every work to ensure that your work is free of grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors.
Proofing Method
Please understand that I am NOT a scopist. A proofreader should be the final set of eyes before turning in a transcript. Therefore if your pages are messy I reserve the right to charge +0.10/per page.
That doesn't mean you can't have errors. No one is perfect; we are all human and make mistakes. But, the more basic mistakes I have to spend time correcting, the greater chance that I will miss something and neither of us want that.
If you have some concerns about proofreading with an iPad, check out this article: "Isn't proofreading on an iPad less accurate on paper?"
